Self Help Credit Union
Self-Help, a nonprofit community-development lender, is funded by Charlotte's Small Business Enterprise Loan Fund. up to 85% of the borrowed amount. The program is available to small businesses in Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Union, Rowan, Anson and Lincoln counties. Eligibility criteria include holding a valid business license, U.S. citizenship and being within certain revenue and net-worth standards.

The SBTDC's Capital Opportunity Report provides entreprenuers with a resource for all stages of business development. From a description of the current economic outlook to the various forms of financing available to small business owners, the report outlines important lending information.
Centralina Development Corporation
The CDC is an SBA affiliated lender and provides services to Cabarrus, Rowan, Iredell, Mecklenburg, Stanly, Union, Lincoln and Gaston counties.
