Mission:
The Entrepreneurial Council of Cabarrus and Rowan counties serves as an advocate, coordinator, convener, and resource for creating an  entrepreneur-friendly business climate and fostering a strong and entrepreneurial culture within the region. 

Concept:
The Council was formed to fill the gap in the region for a centralized resource for entrepreneurs.  The Council will help coordinate existing resources, as well as provide new services where necessary. While it is being established primarily through the leadership of service providers, over time, the Entrepreneurial Council will have significant leadership from entrepreneurs.  The success of the Council requires the area's government and business leaders to champion its cause and recognize that entrepreneurship is a critical part of economic development.
