The McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte has opened the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.

It's designed to be a hub for entrepreneurial scholarship and dialogue for the Charlotte business community, offering resources to students and small-business owners.

In addition to the launch of the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, the McColl School hosts programs throughout the year that are open to the public, including one planned for this fall that focuses on fostering innovation in a challenging economy.

The school also has added a minor in entrepreneurial leadership and continues the work of the Entrepreneurial Leadership Circle, which provides more than $30,000 in student scholarships annually in addition to hosting seminars and events.

Queens University of Charlotte has about 2,300 undergraduate and graduate students.
